New draft route
In stead of the loop to Timbuktu the new draft route will now go through Benin and Togo. The Timbuktu loop has been cancelled due to safety issues.The new routewill add a few miles and days to the tour and will allow us to visit some nice African cities and National Parks. As it is a draft the route still may change and as it has not been cycled before some changes may occur during the tour itself which adds a little more adventure.
Training is still mostly indoors but i was able to squeez in a few nice bike rides during my recent stay in Canada. Next week i will start a more customized training schedule. As days are getting longer and temperatures rise more outside training will be fitted into my schedule.
